How to choose a lens for my pre-ordered nikon d7000?
I really have no experience in lenses and I need a sharp lens for everyday photos which can shoot landscapes and a little macro (if possible).

Which one is better to buy first?
Which one you guys think is the best to buy for now, umm nikon d7000 or macbook pro 15" i5? I'm a web developer / photographer., i do need a second camera for my events and i do need a fast laptop for my editing and some web development, i just have enough money for one.

What are some lenses that you consider must haves for a nature/ landscape photographer?
Some info
i have a nikon D5000
i would prefer if the lens was AF

Nikon D5000 versus Nikon D3100?
D5000
Sensor Size = 15.8 x 23.6mm
Total Pixels = 12.9 million
Effective Pixels = 12.3 million
D3100
Sensor Size = 23.1 x 15.4mm
Total Pixels = 14.8 million
Effective Pixels = 14.2 million
The D3100 has more megapixels but the D5000 has bigger sensor.
I believe bigger sensor means better shooting in low light.
…
Lets us just consider the still images… Mainly because that is the most important.
…
D90 is already too high… So just between the D3100 and the D5000.
…
please tell other important things to consider…

I have an Olympus FE-15, 6megapixels, point-and-shoot
but I'm planning to have a Nikon entry level, probably a D5000.
my sister has a 5megapixels Nokia cameraphone, with Carl Zeiss lens.
I don't what is the model, but I was bought a year ago.
So, how to compute megapixels to get the maximum print size?

Now I know she has a decades of experience as a photographer/ advertising exec. But how do you achieve photos like that? Is it a specific lens or is it photo editing software? If its either of these please let me know what kind of lens/software would do the trick. If not, how can I learn to take photos like this. I know I can't do it in a day or a year but I would like to know where to begin.
I'm an amateur with a Nikon D40 + 18-55 mm lens. I' m new to photography. Give me credit for wanting to learn:-)
I look forward to hearing your answers.
Thanks Bunches.
