How to choose a lens for my pre-ordered nikon d7000?
I really have no experience in lenses and I need a sharp lens for everyday photos which can shoot landscapes and a little macro (if possible).
Just make sure its the right size for one. Don't wanna screw up on that part.find the right mm max op and min op on the camera, do your research before commiting to a camera like this.
You have 100's of choices. In my opinion the best-matched do-it-all lens for my D7000 will be my Nikon 16-85mm zoom lens ($500 used, $650 new). There are virtually unlimited choices with the D7000 since it's capable of using every Nikon compatible lens made since 1977.
On the macro front - you can choose ANY nikon micro lens made since 1977 (AI, AI-s, AF, AF-D, AF-S, DX - all these types are compatible)
One lens that is affordable and can do nearly everything is the older Nikon 28-105 AF zoom lens with a built-in 1:2 macro range from 50-105mm
Truly, your choices are almost unlimited with the D7000. ANY Nikon lens will do the basics well.
