Camera Lenses for the Nikon D5000?
I'm getting the Nikon D5000 and I want to know which lenses I should buy for these settings- Theatres/Auditoriums and Football stadiums/gymnasiums. I know I need something bigger than a 55-200mm, can you help me?
Also, does anyone suggest where I might find this camera and accessories at a reasonable price?

Memory card for the new nikon d7000?
So i ordered the nikon d7000 but need a memory card (or two. And i was just wondering is it worth spending the money for the SanDisk 16GB Extreme - SDHC Class 10 High Performance memory card?
They have a 16gig but class 4 for half the price… I will do the hd video on it but mostly photos…

I have a Nikon D80
Need to buy a few things could use advice
1-A long range shutter release remote to use with bulb and other modes, what brands are good need at least 3 and it would be helpful to have some pros and cons.
2-want to buy a flash is the Nikon SB-900 any good should I look into other brands?
3-thinking of buying a telescope/lens (sky-watcher seems to be good.) What are my not expensive options? The above mentioned has a great price and I want it for sky photography maybe some other long range wildlife and nature.
4-Filters for sun, moon and night sky Photography.
5-A bag that is sturdy has enough space easy to carry and handle with. I have a Tamrac but going to need a lot more space.
thank you
Added (1). A filter for moon:
need to take away the glare effect I've tried diff settings but rarely do i get the true shape and colour

M42 Lens adapter for Nikon D40?
I have a fujinon fish-eye lens with what seems to be the m42 mount. I'm hoping someone can clarify what adapter I should get to use it with a Nikon D40. I don't really understand the terminology of infinity focus and flanges… I want the most versatile use ie landscapes and close-up.Preferably if you could post a link with the best option. Cost is not a problem.
ps. I know the auto focus and other functions won't work.
Added (1). I'm not shopping for landscape and macro lenses, I already have the fisheye lens, which seems like a quality one… I'm just wondering whether to sell it or try to get an adapter for it.
Anyone know if this one would work? Http://www.enjoyyourcamera.com/Lens-Accessories/Lens-Mount-Adapter/M42-Adapter/Quenox-Lens-Mount-Adapter-M42-Nikon-F:2243.html

Choosing a digital SLR camera?
A 35 mm digital or film single-lens reflex camera with an in-lens light meter and manual control of aperture, shutter speed and focus is required. (No point-and-shoot cameras)
Students are required to purchase film.
i need a camera for a school (10th gr) digital photography course,
i definitely want a digital SLR camera (very impatient, and waiting for film to be developed is something that makes me wanna tear my hair out haha).
so i heard Nikon D3100 or the Canon 500D are great for beginners,
what are your opinions? I just want a digital SLR camera that meets the requirements of my school, and takes very sharp pictures. What lenses would i have to get? Or should i get?

Which one would you pick:
sony alpha 550
sony alpha 200
nikon d5000:)

How to capture the blues and greens of a landscape better?
Well, I was out hiking in yellowstone and attempted taking a few shots with my Nikon D5000 and its 55-105mm lens. It was cloudy, I had the ISO at Lo-1 (100), the White Balance at Cloudy, the exposure at +0, and the Aperture at f/16. I noticed that when I took a picture of the landscape, the greens and blues were far too faded and the entire scene was a bit reddish.
Even the landscape mode brought out the greens and blues better. What is it that I should modify in order to bring these colors out?
Added (1). You have helped greatly. I just have a question: How do I increase/decrease contrast?

Nikon D40 lenses - 55-300mm vs 55-200mm?
Planning to buy a Telephoto lens for my D40.
does 'Nikon 55-300mm AF-S DX NIKKOR lens' has a big difference compared to 'Nikon AF-S DX 55-200mm lens' when it comes to zooming?
asking this because both have a huge price difference.

Don't know how to get rid of white specs of whatever it is from my lens
I noticed recently that I keep getting these dark spots in my pictures, they appear only when that part of the camera has a light/white background. Its getting really annoying because it is quite obvious in some of the photos.
Camera is a 7+ years old Nikon D70 with a Nikkor 18-70mm lens (passed down from my uncle, kinda new at photography)
Think the dark spots are due to these little white specs of dust/stuff inside my lens, right under the (top)glass of the camera.
Is there anyway to get rid of them? How the heck did they end up in there anyway! And is couldit be fungus instead? I see some growing but I don't think it would affect the lens this way o.o

Which zoom lens out of the two?
I have a Nikon D3000 and am looking to get a zoom lens, I have had my eye on getting the Sigma 70-300mm f4-5.6 DG OS lens for awhile but also saw the Tamron 70-300mm f4-5.6 Di with AF Motor, the Tamron is more than £100 cheaper, but just wondering does it pay to cash out more than £100 for the Sigma or will the Tamron give me good enough results? I'm interested in wildlife, landscape and cityscape photography incase that helps and my experience is beginner.
Thanks
Added (1). I have decided to get the Sigma 70-300mm f/4.5-5.6 APO DG Macro, thanks for your reply though.
