What should i prefer? Nikon or Canon?

I'm willing to take a DSLR and i'm confused whether nikon is better or canon. I mostly take pics of nature from very tiny objects to landscapes and also need for occasions like family parties, trips etc.coz i do travel a lot. My range is upto Rs. 60000.

This two brand both have their advantage. Personally I have a canon t3i and I love it! I doubt i'll ever end up switching over to nikon. I know its not the camera that takes good pictures but I'm just curious which everyone prefers. This is my choice, every one have their likes. Hope my experience can help you, all my friend use canon, so I now use Canon.

Nikon and canon are more or less the same, i use nikon and love it.one thing i have noticed between canon and nikon is that nikon has better low light performance than canon in the end the choice is yours!

I prefer Nikon which is what I bought but you could not go wrong with either of them. I find Nikon to have slightly more saturated colours for landscapes but that is also a slightly biased opinion.
Both are great and best way to choose it to hold them both in the store and see what one feels better in your hand and that is the one that you should get

Intelligent people also consider Pentax and Sony before choosing the one that feels right when they pick it up.

DSLRs aren't generally all that great for close-ups without extension tubes or a macro lens, anyway, and it'll take you around 18 months to learn how to get the best out of whichever camera you buy.
