What is better Nikon or Canon?

I'm looking for a good camera. I want something that captures every crisp detail and does a good job at capturing objects in motion without the picture being blurry. My budget is around $700. I would appreciate it if anyone could give me a link to a good camera that fits my description.

Nikon is better.

The same old question with the same old, very old, answer. There's no better. These companies both make the most respected and sought after equipment on the planet. Just pick one.

For your budget I'd recommend a camera that I own, the Canon Rebel t1i. Mine gives me excellent service with both stills and video.

Both are just fine.

The two cameras within your budget would be the Nikon D3100 or Canon T3/1100D

Visit a proper camera store and hold them in your hands to see which you like the best.

Take your time when choosing a camera system because once you pick one, you will be married to it for a few decades or pay the price or replacing the whole system with a different one

Crisp and beautiful shots depend on you. Just because you buy a camera that has great quality, it doesn't mean all of your shots will be amazing now.

Canon EOS T3, T2i, Nikon D3100 would be the best options.

And worrying about the brand is useless. I mean what if I say Canon, then someone says Nikon. What does that mean? That they are both good.
