Should I trade my Camera for a Droid?

My camera isn't professional it's GE X5, and I don't like the macro settings. I was thinking that when I get the money (next month) I could get a better camera like a nikon l110 or a canon. However I wasn't sure if I should trade it or sell it on Craigslist. So far I have a choice between the Lg Optimus for T mobile, or a Sidekick 4g. My phone isn't bad, but it isn't good either it's a Samsung gravity 3… I don't want to make this decision on impulse like I did with my camera.
