Should I trade my Nikon D3000 for a Canon T2I?

My dad bought me the D3000 and two lenses, a 18-55 and 55-200mm lens. He asked me the other day if I wanted to trade him for his Canon T2i, which is a better camera. He wouldn't keep it he'd sell it with all the extra accessories. Also if I don't trade him he's going to sell the T2i. Should I trade him, or just keep what I have, and keeping adding on to it?

Canon T2i, which is a better camera.
Where did this idea come from?
Actually both cameras are excellent if old dSLR cameras.
If you already have been successful using the D3000, there's NO advantage to switching camera systems

I'd keep the Nikon.

Canon T2i, is a good camera.
