Should I trade my DSLR for an EVIL system? - 1

I own a nikon d5100. I shoot street photography most of the time. I also do events and some portraitures. I know the dslr has more capabilities, but I just want your suggestions and opinions about this matter.

Seriously, the answer to your question is contained within it: the DSLR has more capabilities. You're gonna grow as a photographer. Why not have gear that will grow with you? Seems like a downgrade to me.

Agree, agree, agree! Besides… How can you overlook the not-so-hidden message in the acronym?

The EVIL cameras are cute, but unless space is a REAL issue, you have a better camera than any of the EVILs of photography available right now.

The only possible advantage is being able to shoot without raising the camera to your eye level, which is helpful for street photography, but your D5100 has Live View for that.
