Nikon aw1 or sony nex 5n? (with waterproof case)?
I was looking for a good mirror less camera. And i came across the Nikon aw1.
I liked it because it was waterproof and had interchangeable lenses. It was perfect for me because I'm not really careful with electronics, or anything:/ then i found the Sony nex 5 and a waterproof case for it. Now I'm having trouble deciding of which camera to buy.
What do you guys think?
I recently bought a Nikon d55000 and I have been taking a lot of photos but I'm really interested in taking portraits. The problem is I'm living in a small town in
interior alaska for now. I'll be going home in a few months where I can photograph my friends and family but for now I have nobody to take pictures of. Is there a way I can practice portraits until then.
Shooting a slow motion video! I have a basic Nikon camera to shoot with and a Macbook. What is the best editing app to convert a regular speed video to slow motion? I want it to look really clear and crisp, but don't want to spend too much money either (nothing over $200).
So I recently bought a Nikon D3300 battery grip online at Amazon and I charged the batteries and put the battery grip in and it's saying add a battery designated for the camera? I plugged into the cord and everything and it's not working?! On the manual it says it's campatable with d3300!

Great cameras for studio photography?
Hi, I was wondering what are some good camera upgrades from the Canon T3? I was gifted that camera about two years ago and I have thought that its time for an upgrade. My main focus in photography is studio work. Product photos and portraits. I know its best to get more lenses but I have many already, so I don't think its in my best interest for right now. I don't particularly have a budget but anything under $600 would be great. I'm looking or a Canon camera but if you have Nikon recommendations, please let me know!

I know this isn't dpforums but… Practically, how does the D810 perform in lowlight? I don't need some DXO number bs. Setting? Dimly-lit street/park. Just about while the sun is setting or towards the end of sunset. In that situation, how would a D810 turn out photos at ISO3200? What is the highest acceptable ISO?
