Is a Nikon cool pix L840 a DSLR?
Just trying to figure this whole camera thing out.
So I've been shooting with an original Canon 5D for the past year now and am looking at upgrading. Currently only have a 50mm 1.8 and an 85mm 1.8 and one flash unit.
Basically I'm looking at some other systems as well as Canon for an upgrade and it's come down to either the Canon 6D, 7D MKII, Sony A7, or the Nikon D610.
I mainly shoot portraits, weddings, and architecture based street photography, so detail tends to trump outright performance. At this point I'm not too heavily invested in Canon so a switch (if worth it) would be doable.
What are the pros and cons of Canon PowerShot sx530 hs and the LUMIX F2.8 DMC-FZ200K?
I'm also going to use this camera for videos and I need good audio and fps. I also take close up pictures of flowers and stuff, pictures of water, and action pictures. So if you have any other good ideas for a camera leave it in the answers!

I'm buying a Nikon D810 today, need advice on which lens to get with it?
I'm purchasing a D810 camera, having never owned a DSLR in the past.
Anyway, I need a camera for my graduation next month, so I need advice on which will be best.
Main priority is that I get something good. Second priority is that it isn't too expensive.
Open to ideas and suggestions.
DSLR won't focus with refractor telescope?
I have a Nikon D5200 with the appropriate T-ring and adapter for my Celestron 90EQ refractor. I was looking at the moon through the scope with one of the eye pieces and everything was perfect. Took out the eye piece and put my camera set up in and all was extremely blurry. I went through the full range of motion with the focus nobs on the scope and it never came in to focus. It seems like the further in I turned the nobs the smaller and more clear the image got but it was still way out of focus. Is there something I'm missing or not doing right? My Nikon does not have an internal focus motor so all focusing must done via the lens, in this case my scope. What else do I need?

My photos won't upload to my Mac from my Nikon?
Added (1). My photos used to simply upload when my camera was connected. Now they no longer do and I'm clueless as to why. If I use another computer and the same method it works, but not with my Mac. Any ideas?
