Canon EOS Rebel T6s(760D) or Nikon D7200?
I've been really looking at these two cameras and I'm trying to figure out which ones will do me best?
Which one of these two would be best for.
Landscapes.
Weddings.
Portraits.
Wildlife.
Aviation Photography.
Low and High light scenarios.
And fast moving photos(Sports)?
Best portrait Lens? (Nikon or third party of Nikon F mount)?
I'm a beginner but I know photography much. So lets say I'm entry level pro.
I want to be a portrait photographer and need a lens that strongly blur my background but the quality of blurring (Bokeh) doesn't seems needed to me.
So advice me a lens (Nikon or third party of Nikon F mount) to go with under $500 to $600. It should provide a very shallow depth of field not depending on Bokeh. If you are advising manual focus like Samyang 85mm f/1.4, Will it be easy for my level(Entry Level Pro).
Depending on your advice, I will choose the camera between D7100 and D5200. If the lens will be worth $500 to $600 I will go for D5200 and If less than $400 or $350, I will go for a D7100.
Again I want to be a portrait photographer and need a lens that strongly blur my background but the quality of blurring (Bokeh) doesn't seems needed to me.
How to shoot video outside of video mode on Canon DSLRs?
I have a filmmaker who uses DSLRs for filmmaking because of it's variety of lens to use. I'm a dedicated Nikon and Sony user, so my understanding of Canon's controls confuses me a bit. In stills, I can use a Canon perfectly fine, since it's very similar to Nikon's layout, but in video, I understand that there's a dedicated video button, one that must be used if I want to shoot video. I invest my money in manual glass a lot, so when I shoot with Nikon and Sony, I can easily switch my setting to Manual, and film directly from there. Though with Canon's video mode, I can't really do that, since it won't detect the manual lens, nor would it allow me much video control, which is important to me because I rather not have the camera do all the work for me. Long story short, my friend is going to shoot video on his Canon T3i, great camera, but his kit lens has limits. That's why I was going to buy him a Nikon to Canon adapter, and let him use my old Nikon manual glass, which does amazingly well in video mode from what I've tested. However, is there a way in the settings that I can use these glass in manual mode, and film in manual mode? Manual mode is the only mode that allow the shutter to be open without newer lens or lens without adapter attached. Also, shooting fully manual is very important as I stated before.
Moving from Bridge camera to DSLR does it make a big difference in image quality?
I currently have a Sony hx-300 from past 2 years. I'm planning to buy the nikon D5200 with dual lens kit. So would it make a big difference or should I continue with my bridge?
Will Nikon clean my viewfinder?
Will Nikon (or reputable third party) clean dust that has gotten into my viewfinder? I see a dot in the finder above a grid line and I've tried blowing and the bunch, but it won't come out. Also, I can't see it on the fresnel when I peer in. Will Nikon or whomever take the focusing screen out to clean it if I give it to them? Will I have to specify? Anyways, thanks.
Added (1). Just to clarify, the dust doesn't affect my image obviously. But, it does show up completely black. I do not think it is a scratch in the focusing screen. It has the same kind of black color as the frame lines and focus selection.
Added (2). also, will they take a look at it when I send it in just for a general cleaning once in a good while?
