Recommendations for a new camera?
Ok, so i'm saving up for a new camera but i have no idea what kind to get. I was thinking a Nikon, but i don't know, comparatively speaking, what companies make the best cameras. Most of the pictures that i take are close-ups, don't know if that makes any difference. I know that cameras are expensive, but i would prefer one in the $200-350 price range, but nothing above $700. If there are any pro-photographers out there that have any input i'm all for it.
Why are the quality on my tumblr photos worse if I enlarge them in the html?
I have that 'Catching Elephant' on my tumblr as my theme, and I tried to make the photos a bit larger by editing the html, but then the quality of the pictures turned really bad. And they're not usually low quality photos, they're taken with a Nikon camera, and the pixels are usually around 3800x2800 (ca), which is why I don't understand why they look so bad now, just because I enlarged them a bit. Please help, it'd be very much appreciated!

What's the Warranty like for a used Nikon DSLR purchase?
I'm looking at purchasing a Nikon DSLR camera but I'm worried about the warranty. How do I find out about the warranty and what would I do if something goes wrong?

Nikon pro staff on a Ruger American Rifle?

Infrared photography with Canon 60D?
What are the ideal settings on a 60D for IR photography? I have a 720nm filter. Mostly concerned about white balance settings, as well as photoshop processing. I'd prefer personal testimonial and not links. Most links use nikons. Thanks
