Best compact digital camera with multiple FPS?
I would like to find a compact digital camera that has excellent zoom and mega pixel quality but it should also take multiple frames per second. I normally like to buy Nikon or Canon cameras, but open to suggestions. Ideally under $300 and something able to buy through a normal retailer.
I'm trying to find a flash that is capable of high speed sync to work with my alpha dslt. The problem is I want it off camera so the fact that it mounts to sonys proprietary mount is not important to me because I don't want it on the camera. Which leads to my question what flash can I use and have it wireless? I have some radio triggers that the tranceiver mounts to the sony and the receiver has a regular hot shoe so can I use a nikon or any third party flash with a hot shoe and hss? Or does some special information need to be sent from camera to flash that would make my sony and third party flash not work together? For example a perfect option would be a flash that shoots hss when triggered regardless of what triggers it wether its the camera or a wireless trigger… Also does the wireless trigger sync speed have to do with this? I wouldnt think so…
My camera won't take pictures?
I have a Nikon and when I press the silver button, it only focuses and won't take the picture… I've tried several times.
How much are 2gb SD cards for cameras?
I have a Nikon ED 18-55mm camera. Can those are be bought at Walmart?
Thank you!
Added (1). Actually the camera I'm borrowing, but I have to have my own things for. And I'm new to all this investing in memory cards, etc for them.
Sell 18-55mm kit lens to help buy 16-85mm?
I'm thinking about selling my 18-55mm VR kit lens and opting for the 16-85mm. My other lenses are a 35mm f/1.8 prime and a 55-200mm. I'm referring to Nikon lenses.
How useful is the extra 2mm on the wide end? I'm constantly wanting to go wider than my 18-55, but I can't afford a decent wide angle right now. I also feel as if the 16-85mm would nicely bridge between my 35 mm prime and my 55-200mm. Thoughts? Experiences with this lens?
I plan on doing a good bit of travel photography as well as general "street" photography
Make me an outfit out of the following please?

Are there any type of Canon lens with a Manual Aperture setting?
Are there any type of Canon lens that allow you to manually change the Aperture control for a canon?
i know they have it for most the Nikon DSLRs
And i know both cameras have an Aperture system, but Canons' have Automatics, and most Nikons' have Manual, and i've been wondering are there ANY Manual Aperture control settings for Canons' ?
Added (1). (Note: I'm new to DSLRs.)
I want to change my compact digital camera. It's an Olympus. I've always had Olympus and they've always been good. However, I've never been happy with this one (had it about 18 months), so I want to change it. But I don't want to end up with another camera I don't like.
In get the "feeling" that Nikon are better than Olympus?
What is the equivalent Nikon model of the Canon EOS 600D and 650D?
Also which is better? Nikon or Canon. Can't choose between the two. I'm just beginning photography and I want the best DSLR.
Can I use eye glass cleaner to clean my camera lens?
I have a Nikon 70-200mm VR II IF… It was a pretty penny and I don't want to f-up the lens. Can I use my eye glass cleaner spray on the lens of my camera and wipe it with the microfiber cloth?
