Nikon to Canon EOS adapter?
I bought a Nikon 35mm E Series lens for my Canon T4i I would like to know if I use a Nikon to Canon EOS adapter like the one below, will my camera mirror and lens back element be safe?
Well it appears that it will but be aware there are no lens electronic connections so nothing on the lens, like auto focus and auto exposure probably won't work at all. In fact you can't even set the exposure and shutter speed with this adapter because the camera can't talk with the lens.
As JimA says, it will fit, but won't work very well.
A Canon fit lens may have been more expensive, but it would've been a lot less hassle - of course, Canon don't take MF lenses, but why you didn't look out for an EOS-fit 35-70mm zoom (dirt cheap and fully compatible) is beyond me.
