Sell 18-55mm kit lens to help buy 16-85mm?

I'm thinking about selling my 18-55mm VR kit lens and opting for the 16-85mm. My other lenses are a 35mm f/1.8 prime and a 55-200mm. I'm referring to Nikon lenses.

How useful is the extra 2mm on the wide end? I'm constantly wanting to go wider than my 18-55, but I can't afford a decent wide angle right now. I also feel as if the 16-85mm would nicely bridge between my 35 mm prime and my 55-200mm. Thoughts? Experiences with this lens?

I plan on doing a good bit of travel photography as well as general "street" photography

To be honest for me this lens is not worth buying, I find it too expensive for what the lens deliver.

They give you another sliding aperture, an extra 2mm which won't make that much difference, plus you already cover the 85mm with your 55-200mm.

Street photography can be achieve with the 55-200mm & the 35mm.

I'm not you but to go wide I would rather get an ultra wide angle like one of those, if you like landscape photography you might want to check them out.
