Why does my 32MB memory card only hold 8 pictures from my camera

I keep deleting all the photos on it and reformatting it but it still only ever hold 8 pictures. I have a Canon PowerShot SX150 IS, but that's irrelevant since my old camera was a Nikon and I had the same problem. And it's not my memory card that's bad either, because I also have a 63MB one that has the same problem. What do I do to maximize the capacity of it?

Added (1). *64MB, not 63.

Tips/suggestions for a beginner photographer?

I have just started taking photos a few weeks ago and really don't know much about photography at all but I really enjoy it and wanted to learn a lot about it. I have a Nikon D7100 and I'm still learning all the different photo terminology and what they mean, for instance, aperture and ISO. As you can see, I'm pretty uneducated on this subject.

Any advice/tips/techniques would be really much appreciated! ~Sara

Time to upgrade, but to what?

I have been shooting videos for almost 4 years with the same camera, the sony HDR-SR12 but I came to the point where I want more control, more options.
The camera I'm looking for is the panasonic gh3 or black magic pocket cinema camera.
The panasonic gh3 seems very promising with its ability to record in ALL-I and 72 Mbits mov file, but the sensor size is small and the color space is quite poor. (8 bits 4:2:0)
In the other hand, the black magic pocket cinema camera is very portable, is able to interchange lenses, can record on raw files, and can record with 13 dynamic range which is incredible for its price! Again, I'm not sure how the 16 mm sensor will affect the overall image quality.
I'm well aware that coming from my sony hdr sr12 camera it will be a huge step up, but I would like to make every bucks I have worth it.
I shoot videos mainly for narrative, but for the upcoming project I will do a documentary film.
Also, how about Nikons and Canons?
Lastly my budget is 1500$, but I could wait and save money if needed.

INEXPENSIVE LENSES ESSENTIAL FOR NIKON D7100?

I recently bought Nikon D7100 to be my hobby. I'm totally zero knowledge when it comes to photography. But I'm determined to learn and to be a good, if not a professional photographer, someday. I have 18-105mm and 55-300mm Nikon lenses and I noticed that my indoor shots are not really that good. I read about aperture and exposure thing and became interested in buying 35mm f1.8 prime lens. I would like to ask if do I really need to shell-out another $200 for 35mm lens to achieve one of the most important art of photography which is what they call "bokeh". I have read in lots of reviews that 35mm f1.8 is really useful specially when it comes to indoor photography, though it is not a zoom lense-fixed distance.

Opinions on Nikon D7100?

I'm interested in purchasing a newer, more advanced Nikon DSLR body. I've been looking at the D7100, and since it's so new there's not many reviews on it.

Does anyone have it? What's it like, any special features?

And anyone else with a Nikon similar to the D7100?

Please give me your opinions as well as sample photos if possible.

Will a 4.5-14x40 Nikon be sufficient enough for varmint hunting?

I'm looking at the Nikon 4.5-14x40 Buckmaster to put on my.223 AR. Will this give me enough power to hit a groundhog around 325 yards? Or should I go for a 4-16?
