Is the Nikon 70-300mm VR lens good for Sports photography?
IS the Nikon 70-300mm F/4.5-5.6 VR good for sports. I know 4.5-5.6 is not very good, and your not letting a lot of light but money is an issue, I would love to get a Nikon AF-S 70-200mm f/2.8G ED VR II but I don't have that kind of money. I'm also doing this as a hobby, nothing professional. (mostly indoor photography)
A good lens first or a flash first?
I'm getting a Nikon D5300 with a 18-140mm 3.5-5.6 lens. I got a bag, card and tripod already. I want to get a 35mm 1.8g lens and a bounce flash. I can only get one for now but I will eventually get the other but it will have to wait 1-2 years. What should I get first and why?
Is there a way to get Nikon DSLR firmware (Not an update from Nikon USA website). The original Firmware that comes with the camera.
Photographers: I'm in the market to buy a new (reasonably priced) Nikon lens… Any suggestions?
Can you work professionally as a photographer?
I have always been very passionate about photography. And I'm constantly taking photos everywhere. I'm even thinking about buying a good camera (any ideas about a reasonably priced, good quality camera?).
But I've heard there's not much money in it, and if you do want to start it is said to be extremely hard to get noticed.
But I'm not just talking about taking family photos, weddings etc, I'm also meaning just genuine photos that you take around the world, that are original and may involve pets, animals etc.
Is there any money in it? How do you get noticed? How do you even start?
Is 18.1 megapixels a high quality camera?
I just got an 18.1 megapixel Nikon for my girlfriend for her birthday… It is the nicest one I could afford… Is this high quality, I know a few years back it would have been unreal, but I'm not so sure nowadays.
Best backpack for photography and school?
I'm a full time high school student and I want to use it for my Nikon DSLR with a 18-140mm and a 35mm lens. But it must be able to hold 3 textbooks as well. Not the camera gear and school stuff at the same time is fine too. It would be nice for the bag to carry a little extra with the camera gear such as a towel or snacks. I would like it to be less than $65 (USD) What bags do you recommend? And which bag is the worst in your opinion.
I've done a little research and here are bags I came up with:
Lowepro hatchback 16L

Lowepro hatchback 22L

Lowepro Fastpack 200

Lowepro CompuDay Photo 250

If there's any other backpack (NO SLINGS) you think I should consider then please tell me, Thanks!
What are some good Nikon lenses for landscape photography?
What are some good Nikon lenses for landscape photography?
If I bought Nikon D5200. Is the strap included?
Is the strap included? I'm buying it from ebay. I'm not sure if there's a strap or do i need to buy it separately? And can you tell me must have accessories for DSLR D5200 Nikon? Forget the lenses though.
I need camera help?
I recently own a nikon s8200 and I love the pictures on it but it's time for me to get a new camera… I'm very used to the nikon camera but I feel like it doesn't do too well when capturing pictures at concerts… I'm stuck between buying the sony wx350 and the nikon s9500… The only reason why I'm hesitant on buying the don't is because it doesn't have a pop up flash which I don't know if it would be as good… Other than that the cameras are pretty similar but my guy says go with the sony because I don't know if the new nikon will act the same as the old one I have… Basically I want a decent price point and shoot camera that has high megapixels (these both have 18) and takes clear crisp images and has continuous shooting Modes… Should I go with the nikon or the sony?! I really want to know if a non pop up flash is worth the price for the camera should and which takes better pictures I'm really struggling to pick between the two basically can someone look up the specs and break it down to which is better quality wise?
