Which of the two lens to buy for birding?
I'm an amateur bird/wildlife photographer. I presently own a nikon d5300 and have no plans to upgrade to a full frame camera. I already own a 18 55mm lens. But i'm confused which one to buy extra of the two:-
1) 55 300mm af s dx lens of nikon
2) 70 300mm nikon lens.
Please suggest which one to buy and why… Wat are the pros and cons of both.

I need to use my nikon sb25 off camera for a small project. I looked into wirless transmitters, but it looks expensive compared to a cheap flash cord? I just wanted to check a flash cord is used for off camera flash?
So my setup would be my camera on a tripod, then the flash about 2ft away on it's flash stand? With the wire connecting both the flash and camera to shoot as if thr flash were in the hotshoe?

I want to purchase a dslr camera for videos. I don want to pay more then $200 dollars for the body. I could always buy lenses desperately. It DOES NOT have to shoot at full hd 1080p. I could settle for 720p or 480p… Maybe even 360p depending on the price gap.
i just want to make sure i have full control of manual focus. I don't want an auto focus camera or camcorder. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Added (1). I purchased a 52mm UV and polarizing filter for my 50mm lens, as that was what everything I was reading said would fit. I received the filters today in the mail and they aren't big enough to screw on. What am I doing wrong?
