Hey i'm looking to buy an entry level DSLR in india and my budget is 40000 INR.
iv shortlisted 2 cameras viz CANON 600D and NIKON D3300.
now both are approximately the same price and in my budget.
Also, both cameras come with the standard 18 - 55 mm lens kit plus a 55 - 250 mm(or 55 - 200 mm in NIKON) lens
i'm thoroughly confused as to which one to go for as i'm a complete ammeture in this field.
any help is thoroughly appreciated
How to pack camera while flying?
I have a Nikon cool-pix l620, and I'm planning to take it with me in my personal item. Just the camera itself. I was wondering if I can keep the batteries inside my camera?
I currently have a 16mp P&s camera, and am planning on upgrade to a 12Mp DSLR… I know Mp doesn't make a big difference, but how much could I blow up a 12mp DSLR photo before seeing a lot of Blur/noise? What print size? Also Advantages and disadvantages of both cameras?
Why won't my Nikon D3300 take more than 1000 photos?
I've only had this camera a few months and I can't figure out why I can't take over 1000 photos. I rang Nikon today and they were pretty useless but they told me I should be able to take up to 9999 photos. Problem is, if I take 1001, 1002, 1003 etc photos then it starts to rewrite over photo 001, 002, 003 etc (and for some reason it doubles the file too, so when I look at them on the computer there are two copies of each shot). I technically can keep shooting but I will lose the first 1000 photos I started with. Why is this happening? My memory card is big enough to take over 2000 photos. The guy from Nikon told me to turn ON the setting File Number Sequence but I'm not in the mood right now to take 1000 photos to test out if this has fixed the problem.

Resolution vs Bitrate. What is better for good video?
I'm going to a wedding on saturday. I wanted to shoot some video while I'm there. My camera is a nikon aw110 the best two options of video are 1080p/30p@ 15Mbps or Iframe 540/30p@ 24Mbps. I plan to edit it at 1080p. What is better? Is lower res high bit rate better than high res lower bit rate?

Added (1). I Plug it in to my camera with the provided cable and everything goes well until I click the shutter release button on the other trigger. Then instead of taking a photo it kicks into movie mode and starts taking a video! Is it because I have manual movie settings on? I shoot in manual. Is there a way to fix this?
I'm looking for a camera to take lots of picture with when I go to Japan. Ones compact and takes dslr like pictures cause of the 1 inch sensor, and it has NFC to share the photos instantly to my smartphone so I can post them on social media. Then the DSLR which is a dslr, which its bigger and all but yea, a dslr.
Sony is $650 on Amazon or $500 on ebay or if i get a good deal on black friday, and the Nikon d3300 is $550 on amazon
