How to pack camera while flying?

Guest
I have a Nikon cool-pix l620, and I'm planning to take it with me in my personal item. Just the camera itself. I was wondering if I can keep the batteries inside my camera?

Yes, leave the batteries in the camera.

Certainly. No one cares. You can bring extra batteries as well, if you want to. If that is all you are taking, then just carry it with you. If you are taking a carry on bag, then if you want, you could put the camera inside the bag. Again, though, no one cares what you do with it.
