Sony Rx100 M2 or Nikon D3300?
I'm looking for a camera to take lots of picture with when I go to Japan. Ones compact and takes dslr like pictures cause of the 1 inch sensor, and it has NFC to share the photos instantly to my smartphone so I can post them on social media. Then the DSLR which is a dslr, which its bigger and all but yea, a dslr.
Sony is $650 on Amazon or $500 on ebay or if i get a good deal on black friday, and the Nikon d3300 is $550 on amazon
While I've seen excellent results with the Sony RX100 series, its smaller 1" sensor just can't measure up to the APS-C size sensor of most DSLR's, much less the full size sensors of the upscale DSLR's.

Still, it sounds like you are in love the the RX100, so you should get it. BTW, if I wanted another P&S, I would probably be getting the RX100.
Get the Sony.
You know that is what you want. You mentioned features you like from the compact but none from the dSLR so I guess the RX100 is the one for you. As you have already said, it takes dSLR-like pictures so yeah!
