Nikon d7200 with 18-105mm or the 18-140mm? What is the better lens?

What lens is better sharper lens? I do not car for the extra reach so much as i have a 55-300mm. Just what is sharper better image

Save the $100 and buy the 18-105 mm and use it as either the basis for a new savings program for a wide angle zoom (like the 10-24 mm) or another piece of equipment or maybe for adding another 8 gb of RAM to your computer

If you already have a 55-300, you want neither the 18-105 or 18-140. You should buy the 24-70 f/2.8 if you want excellent image quality. Or even the stunningly sharp Sigma 18-35 Art lens for your crop body camera.

Or compare lenses at DXOMark.com.

Cameras like the D7200 Prefer fast glass, you won't get the best from that spec of camera using cheap lenses.

I Use a D7000 and D7100 with the 18-105 and it delivers decent results.
