YES
Read the manual. You'll find out that the D810 can be set up to automatically crop if a DX lens is attached. Why would you want to use junky lenses on a D810? With the exception of the 18-140, the other lenses don't have very good optical quality.
Depends. You need to make sure the mount fits your camera. For example, my Sony A55 takes only A mount lenses.
As qrk pointed out… They will work, but why? You are wasting half the sensor to use DX lenses on an FX body. That's a fairly large chunk of change for a camera to only use half of it.
I'm afraid the protruding rear element of those lenses will get in the way of the reflex mirror of the camera costing you an expensive repair.
When you use a full-frame dSLR, you must use full-frame or film lenses.
Keerok is mistaken. The Canon EF-S lenses have that absolute incompatibility with full frame bodies, but the Nikon DX lenses will have the compatibility with diminished usefulness that qrk described.
Not if you want to cover the whole frame. Indeed the D810 can be turned into a "crop-frame" camera if you want to use those lenses. The 18 to 140 does tend to vignette at the tele end.
