Nikon D5300 image preview blurry?
When reviewing an image on my d5300 it looks blurry and the details don't show. As soon as I zoom in once the details show and the age is very sharp. The zoom is not much just the first click. Is this normal how can I fix it?
You can't fix it, at least not on your own. Get in touch with Nikon. If the camera is still under warranty they'll fix it free. If not… Well probably about $150 or more.
Do you have a Sigma lens? If so the problem may be with the Sigma lens as there are some compatibility issues with Sigma and Live View on the D5300. See: http://www.digitalcamerareview.com/default.asp?newsID=5455&news=sigma+lenses+firmware+issues+nikon+d5300+they+fix+it
Thats like my Nikon D90
Are you referring to the LCD screen on the camera itself? It is a low resolution screen, so it is impossible to see the full image at full resolution. It is completely normal behavior.
About the only cameras that have a preview screen with the same resolution as the photos they take are early camera phones or kids' toy cameras.
