My cameras lens is stuck out and it won't turn on?
I have an Nikon L22.while I was taking a picture, my friend grabbed it and tthe lens froze and started clicking and said lens area. So I tiried turning it off and the screen went off and the lens stayed out and now it won't turn on.
Any idea on how I can fix it? If its unfixable would it be too much to ask my friend to buy or at least pitch in for a camera?
It will cost $150
let your friend pay for it
Actually if I were you I'd let this "friend" buy you a new camera. At the price of this one you'll actually save money by buying a new camera.
Perhaps your friend really isn't such a friend after all.
Unfortunately, many cameras that fall prey to lens error problems can only be corrected by professional repair. But, here are some last resort troubleshooting steps that you can try that may correct it. They only seem to work for less than 40% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty (or repair cost approaches that of the camera), they're worth that try.
