My Nikon d5100 on manuel mode is stuck on bulb mode and won't change?

I only ever use manual mode so i'm not the best one to solve your problem…

It should change from 'bulb' when you rotate the 'command dial' clockwise… It works fine on mine.

Consult your manual on how to change the shutter speed. If you're really stuck, talk to your dealer.

If your command dial won't turn one way, try the other.

Bulb mode is the last position in the shutter speed control. Can you change your shutter speed?
