My camera Lens is stuck. It won't turn on or off. What do I do?

I was making a video outside and when I was filming my camera was kinda jittery. When I was finished my video it went frozen and the screen was blank. The camera lens are stuck and it won't turn on nor Off. I have a Nikon cooplix 1400

First understand you can't film with this camera because it's digital… Or hadn't you noticed you don't have to load film in this camera. Video is the key word here.
Second sound like the camera is done. Often, more than not, happens with small cameras - these don't last very long usually just past their warranty.
The only thing, trash and replace.

What video resolution do you have your camera set?
HD requires a Class 6 SD card. Full HD requires a Class 10 SD card

One reset method is to remove the battery, wait a few seconds, then reinsert the battery again.
Or just try to recharge the battery.
