Well first of all contact Amazon. The easiest is to chat with them online:
https://www.amazon.com/...&skip=true

They're really helpful and can give you advice on what to do and most likely they'll go ahead and refund you or send you a replacement for the battery grip. Then you want to contact Nikon since the battery grip was their product and it's apparently damaged your camera. They might be able to send you a loaner camera or something while yours is being sent off if it was truly their fault and not yours.

Hmm

Once I put my MB-200D on my D200, it never came off… Ever really. I just recharge the two batteries from time to time and that is it.

Why your MB-80D is a problem may mean that it came to you damaged in some way. If it is a new product, then Nikon's one year warranty will repair it for you. If it was purchased used, once you get it off the camera, you need to return it to the seller.
