Is the Toshiba Sattelite good for photo editing?

L775-S7114 is the model number.
I don't plan on buying photoshop. I plan on using Serif Photo Projects and Nikon's viewNX2 to do my photography. A guy today at bestbuy suggested a different computer which was an HP pavilion laptop which is an older model and can't be found in most best buys. My parents say I should wait the 2 weeks til it can be shipped all the way from California. My first choice was the Toshiba Sattelite and my dad isn't sure it would be good enough. I want a laptop now and have been waiting for a while.

Question: is the Toshiba Satellite good for photo editing and a good laptop overall?

Just use ImageJ. It's free, and it has a LOT of capability.
