Good Digital Camera Under 100 Dollars?

My prom is coming up and I want a good digital camera with great quality. Sony Cannon Nikon? I prefer newer models. Like 2010-2011-2012. I'm not a camera expert but I want a camera with great quality (day and night) and LONG LASTING Battery because prom is going to be for hours and I want to take lots of pictures.

There's no such thing as a good digital camera for that money. Good implies quality and you won't find it for that money. There's plenty of junk that will barely out live it's warranty for $100 but nothing
of quality.

A word to the wise! Don't get those digital cameras with only a 3x optical zoom lens. You need a 5x optical zoom lens. Buy a camera with a 3x zoom and you will regret it inside of two months, I'm sure!

Low and behold I found some under $100.00 Any one of which would be good for your purposes.

P.S. Get a camera that accepts standard double AA batteries and bring a 4 pack with you in your purse and you will have plenty of battery power to last the night. I like the lithium's if the camera you decide on accepts them. Pricey, yes, but worth it!

The Nikon Coolpix S3100 is great FOR THE PRICE! Perfect size to tote around; functions are extremely user friendly to toggle thru; just point and shoot; love the fact that you don't need to remove the battery to recharge; and it takes a great PICTURE!
