Which camera's better: Canon EOS Rebel T3 or Nikon D100? - 1
Thank you in advance for everyone's answers. An explanation would be appreciated. If you really do not know, please do not answer.
You really don't know how to rate a camera. You should pick the camera which is most comfortable to hold and sight through. Also give do consideration to the price of lenses. And above all when thinking about a DSLR remember every time you change desires your need a special lens such as, for portraits, close-ups, scenic's, etc. Are your prepared financially for that?
If you have the budget for it I would suggest the Canon EOS Rebel T3.It is slightly more expensive than the D100 but with it comes higher picture quality and a few more features. The T3 delivers very high quality photos for being on the low-end of the price scale. It is equipped with a 2.7" LCD screen whereas the D100 only has a 1.8" LCD. There's a couple other photo customization settings as well. Maybe go to amazon and read some comments and see what people like. T3 is currently around $350 after the recent price drop. I hope this helps. Good luck and happy shooting. - D. W.

How did you happen to pick a 11 year old D100 and a 2-1/2 year old Canon T3?
If you want to match cameras, you need to compare oranges to oranges.
A Canon T3 and Nikon D3100… Or a Nikon D7100 to a Canon 7D
You are sort of asking if a 2002 Corvette is better than a 2011 Malibu. They are not in the same class.
The D100 was the first Nikon professional level APS-C camera that was affordable ($2, 000 for body only) The Canon T3/1100D is an entry level camera that comes with a 18-55 mm lens for under $500.
Maybe you need to spend some time on the Nikon and Canon website to see which cameras compare with each other.
You may also find comparing sensor performance of various cameras to see which cameras are better.

That said, both cameras are capable of producing amazing images if you have the skills necessary to produce them.
It is NOT about the camera, but the user when it comes to making brilliant photos
I think Rebel t3.
