My nikon d300 was just dropped by my cat from a high distance, now my flash doesn't work?

I have no idea on how to fix it plus I don't have insurance on the cam, can anyone tell me what can I do?

Go to a Nikon Service Centre. They'll fix it in no time =D

First make sure that everything else works fine.

if your flash is the only thing not working, you will have to get an estimate on how much it will cost to replace.
