You broke it. Options - 1. Get a new one as a repair will probably be as much as replacing it. 2. I refer you to point 1.

Who knows what repairs will be - check with Nikon. Next time never go without the strap around your neck.

It's toast. Time for a new one. Cost of repair will be over 75% of the value of the camera, if you're lucky.

Solution: Send the camera in for repairs.

Now you now why you should always use the supplied camera strap. Using the supplied camera strap would had greatly reduced or even eliminated the camera from being dropped in the first place.

Sounds like the connection from the LCD to the sensor was broken. Call the repair center nearest you, describe the problem and see if they can give you a rough estimate of what it would cost to fix, then you can decide if it's worth it to fix or just get a new one.

Be very careful with Nikon Technical Support. They will charge you for a repair and then send it back not repaired. I know, it just happened to me.
