Which of the two dslr cameras, Nikon D3200 and Cannon EOS 1200D, is better for filmmaking?

I'm super confused and I really need to buy one soon. I researched a bit and found out that Nikon d3200 had better specs but someone told me cannon cameras are always better for filmmaking.

Cannons are weapons that have nothing to do with photography.
Digital cameras have nothing to do with film. If you want to shoot video, then you need to shop for a camcorder, not a DSLR.
