What's a fair price for a d90?

With a 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED AF-S VR DX Nikkor Zoom Lens?
Would 1000 bucks be a fair price for a new one or am i being ripped off?

Try looking on lots of online sites and get a feel for the average price…

New or used? If it's new, it might be too low. Scroll down here and look on the right hand side for the list of "What's in the Box." Make sure that the kit you are buying has all of this stuff. It's how Nikon ships them from the factory. Some retailers hold back things like a battery or neck strap and then charge you double for them as individual items.

Ya 1000 bucks is cool. But y D90, get D7000 the newer version…

New? Pretty good. Used? Depends on condition and how many shutter actuations but for a complete kit still not too bad if "gently used". Check KEH to see what they are currently selling that kit for.
