Is $700 a fair price for Nikon D5000 plus 2 lenses and a bag?
I'm selling my Nikon D5000 Digital SLR camera, plus 2 lenses and a carrying bag. They are all in perfect condition and have not been used very much. Is $700 a fair price for all of it together?
I had a d5000 for a few years and just got the d5100 which I like better. I got mine on amazon.com a couple weeks ago for $546 tax free no shipping. It came with one lens, which is all I need. You'd be better off saving the difference towards buying a nicer lens if that's what you want. Camera bags are pretty cheap too.
Actually, no it's not. They are selling for $599 new. And if you have a look at ebay, you'll see that they are going for between $250 and $350, some with 2 lenses, There's a few that are listed for buy it now prices at $499. Here's a link to the page where the cameras are listed. Http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p5197.m570.l2632&_nkw=nikon+d5000&_sacat=31388&_from=R40
Sorry, but older digital cameras don't retain their value. I've got two D80s that would only get $300 each and they were $1200 cameras.
edit: @Dutchbun, don't think you read right, he's selling, not buying.
Too high. Maybe $550.
