What setting should i put when shooting with nikon d80, reflectors and spotlights?
I need to now how to use the camera indoor shooting with refectors and spotlights i really need the settings
When you are adding lights with reflectors and spotlights, you would set the camera pretty much the same way you would with normal daylight photos. You could use the S/A/P/Auto/portrait modes.
The only change I'd suggest is to change your WB (white balance) and turn it off of auto. Under artificial light, even the best camera's auto WB system can be imperfect.
Here's my procedure when I'm shooting under the unforgiving artificial lights in an arena.
1. Hold down the WB button while rotating the Command Dial in the back of the camera.
2. Look at the top LCD and wait until you see the WB set for PRE.
3. Aim at a white object (a piece of paper works well) and take a picture.
4. See if the WB display announces "GOOD"
5. If so, you're perfectly set for the artificial lighting in the room.
6. Don't forget to reset the WB back to Auto when you're done, or your colors the next day will be way off!
Hope this helps
