No offense but if you have to ask perhaps you should buy a point and shoot - much easier to use than an slr… Or simply put the slr on full auto.

Agree. Set it AUTO while learning to understand shutter speed, ISO, and aperture.

Try the auto setting first, then experiment with different settings.
