What setting should I use to take indoor pictures on a Nikon D40x?
What setting should I use to take indoor pictures on a Nikon D40x?
The manual setting.
Have you done any experimenting? You should - that's how you'll learn best. We learn by doing not by listening to the advice of others.
Also it depends on what you want to do. Flash? I have settings I use. Manual: 1/200, f/5.6. This works quite well for me.
No flash, you'll need either another lens such as a fast 50mm or a tripod and time exposure.
I still advise experimenting and perhaps reading and / or a class.
Manual.
You should be on manual, or at least some kind of shutter/aperture priority setting.
that is the whole point of the camera
when I do some stuff, I go completely manual, focus and everything
