What DSLR to buy, Nikon or Canon?

Greetings,
I have a Nikon D70 and want to upgrade. I'm considering a Nikon D90 and Canon T2i. The Canon has 18 MG vs 12 MG for the Nikon. The Nikon, from Costco is about $1250, and comes with two lenses. I already have the flash attachment and the extra lens for the Nikon.

I'd go with the D90. A good solid camera.

I'd choose the D90, because the lenses and flash attachment you have for your D70 will be compatible with it. The kit from Costco is nice, but if you already have lenses you can just get the D90 body. They're currently selling for about $775 on Amazon.com.

I'd go with the D90. The T2i may have 6 million more pixels than the nikon, but this means relatively nothing unless you plan to be tightly cropping a lot of your photos. If you plan to get the package from costco, make sure you need everything in it (the bag, don't already have the 2 lenses, etc). Check out B&H Photo Video as well, they will offer some great deals as the holidays are upon us and the D90's replacement just came out so its price will be decreasing more and more! (Costco will be less likely to change their price on their package).

If you like the way your D70 feels in your hand you are going to like the d90 and hate the canon. The nikon will also be very familiar to you in controls. The canon has more megapixels which, at this level, only really serves to impress your friends anyway.

Assuming your lenses work for you why not buy body only? Http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/580241-REG/Nikon_25446_D90_SLR_Digital_Camera.html has it for $800. Don't forget to get a few sd cards with it, your CF will not work.

Get a Nikon D7000. That way you can still keep and use the same lenses.
