What accessories to buy for Nikon D7000?

What are my choices if I want to buy an external flash and a remote? Are there a lot of options to choose from? And can I use this with another model?

Flash, sb-700 or 900, works with any nikon. Remote, doesn't matter much, get whatever's cheap

Remote? Well I've never needed one but if you think so.
A tripod, a camera bag, perhaps another lens or two, extra light. The camera is just the start.
Why would you worry about using a flash that you buy for a 7000 with another model? Don't know, that depends on the contacts on the flash and the camera.

Well i'm an D7000 user so according to my experience, I have taken a remote(very handy!) a Sb (better than those bulky Sb and Sb900) and a slik mini Pro V tripod for macro photography. Take a tamron 90mm macro lens and the accessories listed and enjoy.

If you want more then take another flash then a slave unit to fire both flash at once.
