Are nikon d3000 accessories compatible nikon d3100?

I'm looking to buy a remote for my nikon d3100, and i can't find any that say nikon d3100, only nikon d3000. Can anyone help me?

If you're looking for a wireless, infrared remote, the D3100 does not have that capability like the D3000 does. You will have to look for a wired remote(which the D3100 DOES have the capability for).
