Thinking about selling my Nikon D3000?

I have had my Nikon D3000 for almost 2 years, and I love it, but I would really like to upgrade to a DSLR camera that shoots video as well.

I own the D3000 body as well as a Tamron 18-200mm lens and a Nikkor 50mm f/1.8 lens, and I was curious as to whether I should just sell the body or sell one/both of the lenses as well (My camera came with a kit lens, but it was a dud when we got it, so I've just used the Tamron and Nikkor since then)?

I'm also not sure what camera I should upgrade to. I was thinking about the D5100, but the D3100 is also an option. Any suggestions?

Usually photographers keep their existing lenses and just update their camera every four to five years.

The newest iteration of the D3000 is actually the D3200 and the D3200 has the newest Nikon technology, well worth the few extra pennies.
