I have a few questions.
which would be better quality for the price?
Nikon D60
or Nikon D3000?
i mean which is more worth the money.
AND what would be suggestions of work (like around the neighbourhood) to save up money? Because i might go halfers with my parents.
thanks in advance.

Added (1). The cameras would be from amazon.

I have the Nikon D3000 and LOVE IT! It's easy to use, especially for beginners and the pictures turn out great!

I don't have info on the D60 but have owned a D3000 for over a year and it works great, older model now. Have taken hundreds of pictures and so far has not let me down. It was a factory rebuild and got it with the standard lens for $350. Fun to use, lot of features for an entry level DSLR. But still can take pro looking images in the right hands. Remember lighting and composition is more important than which camera you are using.

Try to get it for under $400.

How about watering for neighbors when they are out of town, for money.

The D60 is rather primitive compared to the D3000

The D3100 has replaced the discontinued D40, D60 and D3000. The D3100 adds video capability, Live View and a better sensor - features not found on the D3000.

I think you'll find a better deal on a new D3000 at B&H - http://www.bhphotovideo.com/...ovideo.com They have the D3000 w/18-55mm zoom lens for $449.00 with FREE USA shipping. Most sellers on Amazon charge for shipping.
