Shall I buy an Olympus E-420 for 330$ with 2 kit lenses?

It's a while that I want to move on for my first dSLR, however my limited budget prevents me from buying exactly what I want. I like Pentax k-r (or k-x) more than any other camera but my budget for now doesn't allow to pay minimum 580$ (520$). Another option is a Nikon d5000 with a kit lens (refurbished one) for 420$ and a Nikon D3000 with a kit lens (again refurbished) for 360$. However the cheapest option is an Olympus E-420 with a kit lens (14-42mm) for 270$ (refurbished) and an Olympus E-420 with 2 kit lenses (14-42 and 40-150mm) for 330$ (refurbished). I'm very confused if it's worth to buy one of Olympus'es or Nikon D3000 now, or if it is better to wait for may be a year or more to be able to buy something like k-r?
I think if I buy Olympus or D3000, I may need to buy another camera a few years later, but buying a k-r or D5000 will satisfy me for much longer time.

Why? There's nothing wrong with the Olympus (or the D3000, come to that).

$330 gets you the equivalent of 28-300mm, more than adequate for most situations, along with one of the smallest and lightest DSLRs in the world.

You'll seldom need anything shorter than the 14mm. Real photographers only buy new cameras when the old ones wear out.

It doesn't have to be Canon or Nikon to take pictures.

The Olympus E-420 is an excellent camera. See this for the results others are getting with this camera.

I have a Flickr buddy that used his E-410 for years and really never needed anything else, although he did upgrade to the E-620.

I'm for you buying now, getting started in photography and worrying many years down the road if you should upgrade.
