So I want my first DSLR and I was looking at d7100 which I can afford with a 18-105mm VR lens. I did a photography course for 2 years at my school, I tried the entry level camera d3200 for a week. (borrowed from my friends) I found it easy and I really wanted better programmers so I could be more in charge of the camera. I really like learning and willing to learn this camera inside and out as this money is coming out of my own hand of months and months of work. So my question is, is d7100 good for a beginner or will it be too much of a stepping stone?

Is it worth upgrading my Nikon lenses?
I currently have a Nikon D40 with the 18-55mm f/3.5 kit lens (no VR), and a 55-200mm telephoto (also no VR). I'm looking to get more into photography and I don't know if I should upgrade my lens and/or my body. Would it be worth it to get better lenses or a body? I was thinking about getting the same lenses but the newer versions with VR. I'm into a lot of types of photography. I haven't really found my niche yet but so far I like street, scenery, and portrait photography.

My cousins baby shower is next friday, and I want to shoot the shower. Its going to be outdoors at a park. I have a nikon d3200 with a 18 to 35 mm lens I also have a 2x telephoto lens 52mm thread and a 45 wide angle 52mm thread. Which lens should I use and what which the f stop and Aperture be. And what mode should it be on.

Nikon D80 and 'waterfall' picture?
I'm a novice photographer. I have a Nikon D80 and a tripod that I would like to use for taking a 'waterfall' picture (examples here: ) where the falling water gets blurred. I have seen several answers that describe this, but none easy enough for me to follow since either they describe what to do with a different camera or it was not step-by-step and easy to follow.
Can someone describe what should I do to take a such picture step by step using D80 buttons and controls?

Ok. So I've been thinking about starting a YouTube channel. I have a Nikon d3200 and I've had a lot of experience with social media ex: Instagram, tumblr, etc. And I've had 14k on Instagram with "tumblr" pictures, oh god I regret that phase. And I have 2k currently on Instagram because my 14k got disabled. I'm a 13 year old and I saw that someone that was 13 (Ella elbells) monetizes her videos. I thought you had to be 18? Is this true? Obviously I have some experience. But I'm kindve scared of what my parents will say. I think that they will say yes considering I have told them about my Instagram and such. I'm also kindve scared that the people at my school will make fun of me. Will they?

My birthday is coming up soon, and my mom is letting me pick out a camera. I have narrowed it down to those two. Which one should I pick, and why?

Going to late model and sprint car racing pictures?
So I'm going to late model and sprint car racing and I was wondering if it would be appropriate to take pictures there? It'll be pretty dusty and stuff so I'll bring a cloth to clean the lens and stuff. But is the dust going to hurt my camera (nikon d60)? If it's fine what settings should I use? It'll be taking place from 7:00-11:00 pm and there will be lots of lights so should I stay on the action setting? ANY tips will help!

How to factory restore my Nikon D40 camera?
I lost the manual during my most recent move. A 'friend' changed and messed with a lot of the settings and now it doesn't perform well, or even good, at all. I've tried the two button approach, but still not performing correctly. I can't recall where the other reset button is located. Please Help! New grandbaby due anytime and I want great pics again!
