Photography tips (Nikon D60)?

So I'm horrible with editing in any way so I can't edit my pictures to make them look all beautiful and such… Do you guys have any photography tips? I have a nikon D60 (not that it matters) and my pictures are well, ameatureish. I really need to improve do you guys have any tips?

Are you asking for photography tips to make better photographs or are you asking for tips to improve your digital image development skills in the digital darkroom?

Aside from reading on the subject of photography and techniques, there are also many videos on Youtube that can help you improve; there's also a shortcut you may consider: take a beginner's class to digital photography at a local college (thru the Adult, Evening & Continuing Education Department) or at a local "Y." What you'll learn about 10 lessons or so will last you a lifetime; you'll get feedback from the instructor and your fellow students, and your instructor will help you correct your mistakes. Your Nikon D60 is all you need in order to take a Beginner's Digital Photography course PLUS the desire, receptiveness AND willingness to learn.
