Why is the quality in this picture so bad?
This picture was taken with the kit lens on my Nikon D50, the standard 18-55mm. It was taken at 55mm, f/5.6, shutter 1/160, ISO 400. I'm a beginner photographer, still learning every day. I'm wondering, why is the general quality of this picture so bad?

I'm upgrading from the Nikon D70s to the Pentax K5. I've been studying photography for 3 years now and really want a new camera!
The photos I take are usually as close up as possible, so macro 70% of the time. However I do like capturing nice portrait photos which are not as close up. I really like to make the most of my lens and camera. I don't take landscape shots at all really.
These are the lenses i've been considering:

Accessories for a Nikon D3000?
I'm an amateur photographer, still learning! I have a Nikon D3000 with the standard lens- 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6. What type of lens should I invest in next? Maybe a 50mm? Or a more longer zoom lens? Any recommendations?

I'm stuck between the Nikon D3100 - Digital camera - SLR or the Olympus E-PL1 - Digital camera - mirrorless system. This will be my first "big" camera buy and I'm not sure which one is better. They both seem pretty good. But the Nikon is £100 more… Is it worth the extra money?

Little DSLR experience, need tips for job tomorrow?
Tomorrow is my school's Homecoming pep rally and I'm in charge of taking photographs. I recently purchased my first DSLR camera, a Nikon D3200. Our gym is like a typical gym, bright fluorescent lightning & many people will be moving around. What is a good setting (like what ISO) for taking photos of moving & stationary people at the pep rally?

Why isn't my external flash going off?
I'm using a TT500 speedlite external flash and a Nikon D500 DSLR camera.i've got a radio slip set up so that the flash should go off when I hit the shutter. I've checked the channel the radio slip is on and tried turning it off and on. The batteries are full. Any help?

How to change picture format to RAW on my DSLR?
I own a Nikon D3100 and I want to change the picture format on my camera so that my photos are shot in RAW (or NEF in Nikon cameras)

Which lens is best for wildlife photography?
I'm completely new to DSLRs and am doing some research before I decide which to buy. I was originally thinking of getting the Nikon d3100 as a kit with the 18-55mm lens. However I have read that that lens isn't very good for taking photographs of wildlife from further away, like birds, is this true? And if so is the 55-200mm better for this?
Finally I have read that the lens is the most important part so if I decide to go with the 55-200mm lens what body should I buy? Entry level so nothing too expensive
Thank you for your help, sorry of these questions seem a bit stupid, just trying to get to grips with the basics first!

I bought a Laptop today, a HP one… Latest. No idea of any of the info, as it didn't come with much except a box - anyway. I do make videos, and I use a Nikon D3100 and edit on Windows Movie Maker which was on my old Laptop which came with the editing site, but on this one I have to download the site and to be honest, I can't figure it out. I've downloaded Movie Maker (latest version) about 5 times, and it still doesn't show up. It has changed my internet search bar to Funmoods which now I can't seem to switch back to Google, even though I do change it in settings. I find the Movie Maker in my Laptop, click it, and it downloads again - yet each time it says "successfully downloaded"
What do I do? I need the site by tomorrow as I'm making another video tomorrow!
