Whenever I take a video longer than, per say, 4 or 5 minutes, on my nikon d3100, it acts strangely on the camera (i.e.freezes when passing by it, when trying to play it, sometimes it doesn't play) and whenever I upload it to the computer, it comes up as '0 bytes'. I tried reformatting the memory card and googled the hell out of the problem but found nothing. Anyone have a similar experience / solution?

Nikon vs Canon for Film-making?
I'm interested in film-making as a hobby, I'm getting a DSLR and I have heard that Nikon is good for photography and not the best at shooting video. I have also heard that Canon is better for shooting video. So which is the better option when it comes to getting a clear image quality while filming. I plan on getting an entry level camera, like the Nikon D3200 or Canon T3i, or is there a better option like Sony, Panasonic, etc.

Small Fingerprint spot appearing while seeing through macro lens. Nikon D5100?
Actually i can see a small finger print type of small spot through the macro lens
when we capture pic in my dslr 5100
but it doest affect the image but disturbs while doing photography a tiny spot i can say.

Telescope lens 55-300 is not so clear after taking a picture?

please help me, i'm a bigginer and i love photography. I got a Nikon d3100 with 18-55 lens kit, it is awesome, but i was looking for zoom lens so i purchased AF-S NIKKOR 55-300mm lens kit. In 18-55 after talking the picture we can zoom up to see the small information of the pics, but in 55-300 it is not happening, if i zoo the picture after capturing it, will become bluer, i have tried it with trypad also, but no use. While using the zoom lens is there any setting has to be change in the camera? Will there any problem with the lens. So kindly help me on this
