Is canon really bet for shooting videos?

So i just got into filmning about a year ago and i'm using a nikon. Before i get too deep into nikon is canon better for shooting videos.
I'm trying to decide if i should get the d7000 or sell my d3100, stock lense, and fisheye and switch to a canon 60d
I know it may be a rumor but some rumors have truth to them

Lets put it this way.
If you have the skills for shooting video, it does not matter which brand you use.
Here is a video shot using a D7000

Sony do better video than either, but changing systems is Really stupid.
Only replace your existing camera when it breaks.

Switching from a Nikon D7000 to a Canon D60 is not going to get you any noticeable improvements when it comes to video, and it's going to cost you a bomb to find that out. Seriously DSLR-type camera video, Sony is far and away the leader, but even then I'd not go through the cost of switching from Nikon to Sony if I were in your shoes. Oh, and I should mention, I'm a Sony shooter! Your D7000 is a great camera, you'd do better learning how to get even more out of it!
